Welcome back to my Fifty-two on Friday, or Project 52 post. We are on week 20 of the creative journey with 16 other photographers across the globe exploring different prompts or themes each week. I am really proud of my self for sticking with this project. It is not easy every week to come up with something creative to represent the themes or prompts. But I am growing as a photographer through this journey, and I am thankful to the women who show up with me, and to my readers that follow this post each week!  This week our theme is Flowers. I took a pretty literal approach, but there is a story here…

This week I established a baseline read of my health with my first mammogram. This is after my amazing aunt and even more amazing mom were diagnosed with breast cancer in the last 24 months. My husband and I were happy to know that my scans were clean. As a token of love for me and thankfulness for a clean scan, he went out an bought me my favorite flowers! Pink peonies are my fav, they are full of life, happy, colorful Flowers.
