Thankful Thursday | Belmont CA Lifestyle Photographer | Jayme Franklin

Thankful.

Thankful that she has him.

Thankful that he is the first person that she wants to see in the morning.

Thankful that as she grows into a young lady, she will have him as her compass.

Thankful that she will always know, without a doubt that her Daddy loves her.

Thankful.

SF Bay Area Custom Family Portraits | My time with M & M

I’ve been waiting to post this beautiful mother-son session for weeks now. After one sneak peak of M & M, here are the rest of this gorgeous family. M & M came prepared for fun! We hit two different locations during this shoot, a couple of wardrobe changes, this family was up for it all! And to think that he session was almost canceled because of the forcast of rain…in June…in CA…unheard of! I am so glad to have had the opportunity to photograph these two. They kept me laughing the whole time.
Thanks M & M for sharing your morning with me!

Belmont San Mateo Family Photographer | M & M, just one for now

I had the incredible honor of photographing M & M a couple of weekends ago. I loved capturing the sweet and fun relationship between a mother and her son. We hit multiple locations, but started at the train tracks for our adventure. More to come later. Thanks again, for letting me capture these sweet moments.

Bay Area Peninsula Child Photography | Fifty-two on Friday {growth}

Welcome back to my project 52.  In case you haven’t been before, my project 52 is a creative journey shared with 16 other amazing photographers where we explore and interpret different themes and prompts each week. If you’d like to check out some of our previous week’s themes, see Simplicity, SOOC, and Flowers . There is some pretty amazing talent in this circle, so don’t forget to click the link to the next photographer in the circle at the bottom of my post.

This week, our theme was Growth.

Growth is a bittersweet theme for me.  I love watching my children grow, but at the same time wish I could freeze time. I love watching them conquer new skills, but miss the sweet baby smell.

My youngest will tell me, “I’m not a baby”, but to me she will always be my sweet baby girl!

{Growth}

Thanks for stopping by to check out my project 52. Take some time and click on over to check out Shea Parker | Clinton MS, Child Photographer.

Sunshine on a Rainy Day | Family Photographer Bay Area Peninsula

I am so excited to share this photo session. These lovely twin girls are near and dear to my heart! Their mama is my only girl cousin, and is more like a sister. I wished that we could live closer, to watch each others children grow, play, and share memories. We planned this custom photography session during their visit from the Northwest. The session was tentative with the forecast of rain. But these girls in all their gorgeousness kept the rain at bay, and were the sunshine in my day. There are just too many cute images of these little ladies and their mama, that I’ll have to break this into multiple posts!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bay Area Peninsula Child Photographer | Sometimes my own have had enough

Sometime my own have had enough of the camera. But…I can’t help myself when it comes to capturing all of the expressions that just show how they feel. I want to remember these faces, these moments, these loves that I call mine.

Bay Area Peninsula Lifestyle Photographer | Fifty-two on Fridays {Looking in}

Well, I almost chickened out this week of my project 52.  My work load hasn’t let up and the theme this week was a difficult one {Looking in}, so it would have been an easy week to decide not to participate.  But no, I need this project to keep challenging my creativity, my composition, and  my skill.  Not to mention, I just needed something fun to end my crazy week!   And, in case you haven’t visited my blog before, my project 52 is a creative journey shared with 16 other amazing photographers where we explore and interpret different themes and prompts each week. If you’d like to check out some of our previous themes, see rainbows, black and white, and vintage. There is some pretty amazing talent in this circle, so don’t forget to click the link to the next photographer in the circle at the bottom of my post.

Looking in, brings to mind checking in on my two little ones after they’ve gone bed, just to make sure that no one has migrated to the floor, misplaced their lovey or dolly, or doesn’t have enough covers to keep them warm through the night.  I’ve looked in on my kids every night since they day they were born, and will probably do so until they leave for college. This particular time, this little one hadn’t quite decided to GO TO BED!

{Looking in}

I am excited and curious this week to find out how my 16 photographer peeps interpreted this theme.  To start the circle, head on over to Melissa Deakin, Williamsville NY, Family and Child Photographer, to see what she is {looking in}to.

Belmont and SF Peninsula Baby Photographer | Baby G & Giraffe

This is just a sneak peak of the adorable Baby G.  He has the most mellow and happy temperment.  I think he wasn’t so sure what to think of my camera, but he warmed up to me quickly when the Cherrios came out.  I had the great pleasure of photographing this cute little one when he was only 2 weeks old and now again at 9 months old.  I look forward watching the growth of this adorable sweet boy.

Oh it feels good to be posting my project 52 this week. I was out last week because I’ve been buried alive under mountains and mountains of work. I truly missed the ladies of my blog circle, and when I am gone for a week it seems too long. In case you haven’t visited my blog before, my project 52 is a creative journey shared with 16 other amazing photographers where we explore and interpret different themes and prompts each week. If you’d like to check out some of our previous themes, see rainbows, black and white, and vintage. This week our theme is Simplicity. For me, Simplicity is the sweet innocence of a child captured in a simple black and white photograph. These photographs below are of my cousins very sweet and beautiful twin girls. I had the great pleasure and honor of having a custom photo shoot with them, the were so much fun to photograph!

{Simplicity}

Thanks for stopping by my blog this week. Don’t forget to check out the very talented Melissa Deakin | Williamsville NY, Family and Child Photographer for her take on the theme, Simplicity. I know she will rock our socks off!
