I am here. It’s December. I am just trying to make it through to January. This is one of those projects that is helping me to make it through. I feel renewed and connected when I pull together my 10-on-10 post. What is 10-on-10? 10-on-10 is 10 photos from one day in my ordinary, blessed, chaotic, real life. It is taking photos of what I really love. I started this project with the aim of capturing my life, the raw, the beautiful, my family, my friends, my work. I didn’t want to look back and see only portraits of my kids. I want to look back and see my family and say, Yes, I remember that….
I am lucky to be doing this project with nine other photographers, that for reasons of their own see value in slowing down for a day and capturing 10 photos that tell a story of where their lives. Please click the link at the bottom of my post to see the next photographer and her 10-on-10.
This month, I stepped out of my comfort zone (a lot) and decided that I would shoot this project using film. My adventures in film have been a quiet journey and I was super excited to capture a day with my family.
{10-on-10) Thanksgiving Day 2011 at Grandmas.

I am so happy that my friend Laurie | A Favored Life is joining me this month with a 10-on-10 post.

You are going to be so happy you have all those pictures. I’m not sure I even know how to use a film camera anymore. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
