I am back this week with a group of ladies from The Bloom Forum and our Project 52 Blog Circle. Each week 17 different photographers from around the globe are encouraged to think creatively to interpret a theme or prompt. We post our photographic interpretation as part of blog-circle. If you would like to catch up on previous weeks theme, check out Vintage, Rainbows, Mother Nature for starters. At the end of my post, link to the next photographer in the blog-circle to catch a glimpse of her interpretation of the theme. This circle is pure eye candy with loads of soulful interpretations.
This week our group theme was SOOC, or otherwise know to photographers as “Straight Out Of Camera”. This theme shouldn’t be hard for any of us, since any picture has a a SOOC rendered image. SOOC shots can speak of the vision that the photographer had when the image was taken. Most photographers spend some time in the digitial darkroom with the SOOC capture, honing the image to the photographers final image. The thing about SOOC images, is that the better the quality (i.e. exposure, light, composition) SOOC, the easier it is to bring a vision to life in the digital darkroom.
For my SOOC shot today, I chose an image from a recent “Bloom Forum” meet up in Santa Cruz, CA. This lovely teen showed us some serious high jumps during her session. And, of course I couldn’t resist showing you the final processed image.
