My name is Jayme Franklin, I am a thirty-something California girl. I love dark chocolate at any time of day. I run to save my sanity and find my happy place. I'm a wife and a mother to two little blondies, who are often featured here on my blog!

As a photographer, I love to photograph moments in time that tell a story, and freeze memories that can be cherished for a lifetime. I am honored when I get to photograph people being real, being themselves, being together. My style of photography is a fun mix of modern and lifestyle portraiture that aims to truly reflect my clients personalities. Capturing the silly, the shy, those moments that reflect how a couple or a family is feeling, that is why I LOVE being a photographer.

Jayme is an on location, natural light photographer based in Belmont, California. She specializes in family, children, and maternity photography.

About Me

Faceless Portrait | San Francisco Bay Area Family Photographer | Project 26

Yay, it is Thursday and it is time for my second Project 26 post. I am sharing this creative journey with some amazingly talented photographers across the United States. To catch a glimpse of how each of us interpreted this weeks theme, follow the links at the end of my post.

Our creative theme, was faceless portrait. I originally interpreted this theme as faceless self portrait, and so I did take one of those. But alas, this blog has seen TWO selfies (here and here) in less than a week, and I am quite tired of seeing myself on this blog. On to more handsome subjects!

Now, grab your favorite hot morning beverage and head on over and see my friend, Shea Parker | Jackson Mississippi Newborn & Child Photographer for her interpretation of this weeks Faceless Portrait!

HA! this was my original idea too… great minds think alike. But for some reason I knew it wasn’t meant to be…because this image Jayme, is creme de la creme. I think it captures perfect with the mood, lighting, processing and him. Brava Brava Brava.
